hello everyone hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas i have a question maybe someone one else has heard of this rumor i just talked to a dealer ship they did a vin check on the car and a build sheet check the build sheet came back with the car having a performance package in it with all the same specs as a w6 but the rpo on the door shows it a ws9 car could someone have ordered the car with the performance pack in it with out the ws6 badging the car has a stock ws 6 hood on it. also the dealer said only 36 cars where ever ordered this way before they stopped taking special orders i have tried to do research and haven,t found anything on this to back up the dealer research thanks for looking and any insight anyone may have on this and hope everyone has a safe new years if this is not the right thread please let me know where it should be placed

If WS6 isn't on the door sticker, it's not a WS6. WS9 just means that it's a V8 car - Formula or Trans Am. There's no "special performance package" other than the WS6, which this one doesn't have. Someone just placed a WS6 hood on a regular edition Trans Am.

thanks thats what i told the chevy dealer the car is just been cloned to a ws6 thanks and have a great new years and be safe

Yeah dealers talk out their asses. Everything is a special limited edition super rare one of a kind gem, and u better snap it up before its gone lol
