Default Help me.!

Just baught a 99 Trans am Ls1 this my first ls engine and real race car so im learning as I go um the car currently have Long tube headers 1 3/4 no cats Off road Y pipe in 2 weeks Ima strate pipe it and delete mufflers also now since this is my first time I need help planning on the size cam and injectors I think Ima go with a ls6 intake but not sure yet my car will be my daily and I do not wanna start off going huge lols I wanna atleast be in the 470ish range for rwhp then after I reach that then I'll go bigger and upgrade everything but I did set up for a tune August 31 that way give me more time to put more bolt ons on and to learn and to atleast be in 400ish range

Read these to get an idea on where you want to go. Also think about driveshafts, rear ends, and clutches if an M6/converters if auto.

It's a auto I thought about 3600-3800 stall and thank you bro I'm Finna read now lol

Just remember it costs money to make power and it's not cheap at all. Hell just a cam upgrade can end up costing you $1600-$2200+ by the time you figure in the cost of the cam/springs/rocker upgrade/gaskets/tuning software or tune and then if an auto you'll need higher stall converter. Then you better hope your injectors/fuel system are going to keep up.

So your initial goal is around 470 rwhp n/a?

It's going to take a LOT of work to get to 470 whp n/a with an auto. Just don't want you to have unrealistic expectations.
