Default Cowl measurements please

I have a 2000 firehawk and the cowl has been cut back to the windshield.

I am looking for is the measurement from center of the windshield to the front edge of the stock cowl.

Also wondering if anyone has a Firebird with a stock hood and a cut cowl.

just wondering how a stock hood would look with a cut cowl.

Thank you for your help

rougly 6.5" from bottom of the windshield to the end of the plastic cowl with the seal on it.

Hey thanks for checking that. I have a Sunoco style hood and the scoop is to hard to see over for me. So I'm looking for a hood with maybe a 2" scoop or doing something with a flat hood and a shaker scoop. I think it would look pretty goofy with a stock style hood and the cowl cut. There are only a few hoods that go back to the windshield, not really sure on which way to go.

Thanks again for checking that for me
