I can’t wait to see the end results! It was on my list of things to do this winter, but I ended up replacing all of my Craftsman tools with a new set. Car funds are NA right now. I built some covers for now which looks ok. It will get me by until spring or next winter if I need to. What panels are you going to build or buy?

Gonna finish the covers in post 103 and 104. I'll mirror the one onnthe battery side now that the abs module will be gone.
I'll have to decide if I want to powdercoat or paint them, but yeah should clean up the engine bay really nicely. I was eyeballing the install last night and this kit basically plugs into the master snd goes straight down to the frame rail so it will be mostly invisible.

Yeah i got lucky when I converted to a stand alone harness it cleaned up and lot. There's so much I could eliminate since a lot of the stock wiring isn't connected anymore.
Maybe i can work on that a bit with the abs outta the way?

Pass side is mostly done, still have to straighten some of the cuts. Then gonna have to figure out how to secure them. Likely gonna powdercoat them once that's all done.

Little before and after! The top portion of the abs delete is pretty much done, now just to route the lines to the calipers and to the rear.
I took the time to re routed some wiring and tidy up while I was at it. Since this car is a bit of a Frankenstein a majority ofnthe factory wiring is dead weight. So I pruned the harness a bit. I'm waiting on my wire loom to show up to finish this up. Then I can make the other closeout panel to match the passenger side. I wanna find a way to secure the plug wires and clean that up too project for another time.

Thanks! It was made by a company called stealth composites uses a c4 vette sized filter element.
They are still in business but looks like they don't offer this intake anymore. I dont remember ever seeing another one, but i always liked that it made the airbox more symmetrical. It needs a paint refresh at this point. It was onnthe car when it was still a v6.

Finally got these powder coated and installed. Really happy woth how they came out, but the panel infront of of the airbox has some imperfections in it I've got to work out.
These being installed really highlighted that my airbox needed a refresh. Used SEM satin black rattle can. Really happy with the results, now just to but all the banging back on.
Engine bay is 90% of what I've always envisioned it.
Definitely looking clean. You gonna actually drive this or is it gonna be too much work to keep up on cleaning it. (Just ribbing you a little) That thing looks pretty immaculate, Well done

I need to drive it more, it got drove a lot last summer but got a fuel leak about September. I wanted to delete my abs so I paired both of those jobs, I'm having a hard time getting the brakes bleed downtown it's done haha.
I like the sano look, but ive got an engine plaque and the badge i had on the airbox lid to put back on so it won't be completely bare but the engine is definitely the star haha.
It's not that bad to keep clean actually, its a fair weather car it's not been on a long road trip in a while if like to get back to that and enjoy it more. Just not as much free time for that as i used to have.

I actually drove mine into work today and then seen they was going to mow the office area, so I took it back home at lunch. I think I only put 800 miles on last year. I also had it out on Sunday and after putting the new 4 inch Mufflex exhaust on I had to adjust the tune it was hitting the limiter on the 2-3 shift.
