Default Non-power Antenna recommendations?

I replaced my snapped antenna with a non-powered one from an auto-zone or similar place, but after a little after a year, the base is rusty, and I've never liked the look as it is rubber and bends while driving which looks pretty lame, so time to find a more quality replacement... looking for recommendations on a quality one that will last, or even an internal design and a plastic/rubber cover for the hole would work... cheers...

A forum member "bitviper" makes them. I put one on to save a little weight. Its a nice compact setup and the price was right. He claimed no reception changes but i definately lost signal. I am pretty far out from the city though, when i get about 30min closer its fine.
