Default Trunk Release from the inside

So, let's say you don't have the key for the trunk or door to your 99 Trans Am. You have the fob and ignition key, but not the lock key. You cannot use your fob because you have most of the front end of the car outside your car. (battery, ecu, all is out) How does one go about releasing the lock to the hatch screw driver and pliers style?

When I'm in the junk yard and need access to the hatch, I crawl over the rear seat and remove the few bolts that hold the lock assembly in place. Then just open it that way.
