Dashboard lights
I have a 2002 WS6. Living in Florida, during the day it’s really necessary to wear sunglasses almost all the time. As a result, I usually can’t see the dash gauges- it’s just too darn dark in there.
What I’m thinking of is wiring the dash lights into the daylight (daytime) running lights.
Is this doable? If it is, next step is to put leds in the dash.
Any thoughts?

Yes, you can replace your bulbs separately, one by one. As I know, the T10 LED light can substitute a 194-style bulb. Besides, you don't need any resisters when converting to LEDs. You can find many tutorials on YouTube. They will guide you through the process. But keep in mind one thing! If your bulbs require a voltage level other than the usual 230V, you must consider some additional elements. Anyway, you can find everything on YouTube. Consider that I'm not a pro, and you'd better double-check the data. The only thing I'm good at are the . They are simple to use and control. As for car lights, I don't know too much.

I don't think the dash lights will help. The sun will still be much brighter and should wash them out. If you turn the headlights on during the day, can you see the gauges then?
I had this issue and I'm not even in Florida. (The black background on the gauges is a killer.) Switching to a white overlay for the cluster fixed my issues.
