Lighting Problems of course
So Im new to the forum and Im sure this has been asked a million times but Im almost to where I will have to start backprobing and testing at the cluster according to what i am reading. I have a 02 ws6 Turn signal problems are kicking my ***. I have replaced sockets on both front turn signals and bulbs. passenger side works. Driver side does not, it stays lite up solid on the cluster and on the car but will not flash. I have a new flasher in already and dont think this would be a problem seeing as to how my passenger side works. If you turn on hazards all flash except for driver front. When turn signal is applied passenger side works at front and back driver side will not work at all. All lights all the way around the vehicle are operating. Any help is appreciated I love this car but It clearly hates me.

forgot to add it has a new multifunction switch also. After looking at a schematic i dont think the IPC would be the problem more towards the daytime running light module now. just wondering if anyone else has been here to.

You said the emergency flashers will not light the drivers front light.
You said the left turn signal will not light the drivers front light.
You said all of the lights are operating...do you mean all of the light bulbs are good?
1. First I would move the drivers front light to the passenger front light to make sure everything is good.
2. I would do the same with the rear lights...move from drivers to passenger side.
3. Confirm all bulbs are correct type.
Have any sockets been replaced, are they clean, no corrosion?

Yes driver and passenger front sockets have been replaced due to corrosion. Bulbs light up and are working except for driver side front will not flash at all.

Save the manuals!

- A bad DRL Module
- Bad wiring between your DRL module and the wocket
- A bad socket/socket wiring
- A bad/wrong bulb
Since you've already worked with the later points, I'd start by probing the connectors at the DRL module. That should tell you quickly if the driver's side relay in the module has gone bad.
When you do this, the DRL turns off and the parking light filament comes on through a direct connection to the switch.

Did you swap the front drivers and front passenger lights?
Did the problem stay the same?
Next, Compare voltage between the left and right sockets?
Check them with one circuit on at a time.
Turn signal on
Emergency on
Parking on
BTW, did the lights work before you wired in the new sockets?
or was it exactly like it is now?
Or was it worse due to the corrosion in the sockets?
Are you positive all the rear light filaments are functioning
