Love everything about that car EXCEPT the color lol. In fact im building a 72 trans am almost identical to that right now... Would love some info on how the shaker fit with the Ls swap and what intake was used

To install factory shaker; you will have to cut up shaker and fab brackets to hold it to hood. Way back when someone made a simulated shaker scoop that attached to the top of a stock hood. A formula hood might allow for a ram air set up.

I’m not trying to be a punk. At all. But isn’t that a Chevy motor in there (427)? The quintessential Pontiac has a Chevy engine..?

That said, I would give my left nut for that car.

While I'm a big fan of the 2nd gen T/As (had a '76 455-4sp back in the day), this Formula (and it's wicked hood) is a thing of beauty.

I remember seeing that 73 TA at SEMA some years ago. It was beautiful to see in person. All that was missing was the infamous twin exhaust tips.

I'm pretty sure that the '73 T/As came from the factory with straight chrome slash-cut pipes, not the chrome double down-turns that were standard in the later '70s (starting '75 or '76 IIRC).
