Uhm, he's just alittle fast than me....actually alot! His car now traps 121 MPH in the quarter mile. Mine has seen 2 best MPH's of 116 & 117 in really good air. I am now back to trapping 110-111 in the heat and only ran a 12.86 the other night as compared to 4 months ago at 12.39 @ 113.50. His car is built motor with all forged internals rods/pistons and set up for nitrous basically he's going to be spraying a 200 shot when he races which is going to be good for mid-low 10's come this late fall when it cools off. I will be running my mid-low 12's when the good air comes back but that's fine for me I don't want to stick a roll cage in my car just yet. It's gone 11'9's a few times, but til the new NHRA 11.50 rule is in place at my track I have some room to play with without getting kicked off the track.
So yeah, he's faster than me for now

I'm really new to the car, not really sure what to do about mods, any suggestions? I mean, I have Ram Air, but can I do anything to customize it? Like different filter or something? I'm already getting an exhaust, got that covered, any suggestions would help.

Depends on what you want to do with it. Are you going to race it at the track? A gear change is always a good mod to do. Depends on how much you wanna sacrifice gas mileage. Exhaust is good headers on back through a nice Cat back system.
Like I said it depends on how much power you want to add to it and remain a daily driver. Rear ends in these cars break pretty easy once you go over the 350 RWHP area. And that's the most cost to replace if you get a 12 bolt they run in excess of 2K

Well, I just kinda wanna make it a little more than it is, not MAJOR stuff really. I could have a read end built for it, that would help, but as far as gears, they aren't in my thoughts right now, daily driver issues is a biggy. I need to keep it as reliable as possible and keep the gas mileage down.
Like lets say Programmer, Exaust(Flowmaster mufflers with off road x pipe), and headers for now. Does that sound pretty good and I won't have to replace the rear end or should I just for safety?

Welcome aboard! You don't need to replace your rear end until you get over 400hp. Don't go with a flowmaster setup. There are a lot better exhausts out there that are budget friendly. You can go to www.ls1sounds.com to get an idea of what sound you are looking for.

Uhm stock 10 bolts having broken on alot of M6 cars I know before they added cams and heads....bolt on's will do it too.
They can break w/ 350 to the wheels or less.....just the chance you take and how you drive it hitting 2nd gear hard usually does the trick after awhile .

Ok well I don't have the flowmasters exhaust, just the mufflers, so I already have them. Should I really change the exhaust? I was planning on a 2 1/2 inch x pipe(offroad). I've already been to the ls1sounds, and I am inlove with the SLP and Borla, BUT, SLP has mad inside resignation. Borla sounds good too, its a thought, but I thought the Xpipe with no cats would be a good sound and plenty of airflow.
