Just picked up an 02 WS6 a few weeks ago with 57k miles. I got it from the original family. Son took it over from father about a year ago and added Viking coil overs front & rear, along with slotted/drilled rotors. On the 4hr drive home, I realized I needed certain things; better lighting, a radio with Android auto and an auto dimming mirror. So, soon as I got home I ordered the Kenwood head unit, Kee speaker upgrade, picked up a new rearview mirror and put in LEDs all the way around. I'm doing the LMC headlight buckets with LEDs, but haven't put them in yet. And here are a few pics for viewing pleasure
Yeah, you can dim the head unit. Like the others said, it has 3 levels. The rearview mirror is from an 08 HHR. I didn't get the one with temp cause I'm too lazy to run the wiring for the Guage. It has useless Onstar buttons, but it looks factory.
We have some similar taste. I put on the exact same side marker lights the day after I picked up my second WS6. I just saw they have a Dark front once with white LED's, I may switch to those. I have them on my WS6 Vert too, 4 years and going strong.
I also dropped in the Genssi LED lights. Easy install.
I have the Pioneer Car radio AVIC-8200NEX in also in the the Vert, decided to try the joying in the T-top. Still working on the frame.
Couple more things done. Got the ceramic coat and paint correction. The belt replacement turned into both tensioners and belts, pullies, hoses, heater Hoses, p/s pump and pulley, p/s lines, and finally window tint Backup camera CETA Mod. Wrapped it
My next mod will be putting in a Holley system and piggybacking it with the stock system to keep factory gauges, etc. Im trying to figure out now which one I actually need. Its going to be a bolt on car with a cam, no race car this time.

Why spend over a grand on a Holley aftermarket ECU for a cam only car? Even myself with a 383 with a "difficult to tune" fast 102 and stalled automatic run the stock ECU. Even after having misfire problems once i installed the build short block and chasing my tail for a whole season thinking it may be ECU or harness related did not want to give in to putting in a Holley, telling myself thats overkill for a street car. Luckily I didn't because it turned out to be a warped reluctor wheel...point being though, for what you want to do the stock computer is plenty adequate.
Well, got a few mods for it. Set of 243s milled .020, BTR Stage 1v2 ls1/ls2 cam, TSP Headers & Y pipe and fixing leaking seals and gaskets. Also all supporting valve train mods needed. Just making it a little more fun. I'll post some numbers after it's tuned.
