Does Anyone Hate Their 'bird?
I have two 4th gens. '94 and '02. I hate working on the older one compared to the newer deal. Headers, cam, you name it- it's harder to install on the LT1. I LOVE my LT1, but at the same time I hate it.
Hate working on it. LOVE everything else about it. God I hope I never feel this way about my
'02 'Hawk. The '94 is my beater, I will probably rebuild as needed, but otherwise I wil never install another performance part for the hell of it again!! LS1 is now the "whip". Does anyone else have negative emotions about their car or am I simply defective?

Blasphamy!
I know how you feel about it. I like working on my car because it means I'm modding it. I can't stand working on my truck or my family's cars because its maintenence. And my car is cleaner.

I don't know about the lt-1s but my 89 gta l-98 tpi 5.7 is an absolute pain in the *** to change out the spark plugs.I bought the car new in 89 and I have since changed the plugs twice and it sucks.I guess that access to a lift would help greatly .Other than that I love my third gen and I hope my son will also when I give it to him ..I have 46k on it now but I am thinking of taking her out this summer and having some fun smokin ricers..I have always loved the firebird trans ams 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th gen But to me I think that the third gen gta's were the best looking ........

I have always wanted a
'77 or '78 black with a gold chicken on the hood. Although as much as I want it, I still wouldn't be satisfied because of the smog motor that came with it.
It would turn into another money pit, and it would take away from my' 02's mod money....

Love the looks, sound & speed but it is a PITA to work on. The only EASY things were the lid, bellows & MAF LOL I was going to attempt the headers but said screw it, I want them done right. Spark plugs are a major PITA also. Gimme a 3.8 Turbo ANYDAY! Lots and lots of room and easy to work on.........
