Some questions... Hi there, I'm new.
I recently bought an 84' Pontiac Firebird (with the V8). There were a few problems with it when I bought it. It has a tilt steering wheel which is non-functional (I can move it up and down at my own free will
) But I can still drive it.
Also the high beam switch and washer fluid switch is not working as well.
Lastly, when I turn corners at slow speeds the car tends to make a low grinding sound. (And I don't feel it from the steering wheel)
I figure most of you guys would know a lot more than me at firebirds and
I would highly appreciate some information into what I should do about
these problems.

problems 1&2: replace defective equipment.
problem 3: Check fluid in p/s setup. Also inspect wheel bearings for wear.
My cars 20yrs old, engine is 10yrs old, tranny is 7yrs old, and I still paid about $25k less than ^^

Albert, check with thirdgen.org to pick you up some good used switches and a column. It is a great site over there much like this one. Probably no more than $100 for everything.
As far as the grinding noise....check the brakes front and rear and check the rear end. hard to determine on the net without seeing or hearing the car. Good luck!
