Here's what I have:

1997 Formula convertible ... white ... LT1 ... A3 .... leather Recaros ... pipes on both sides. I think that there were only 300 or so built that year.

I'm a little surprised that there aren't more pre-LS1 F-body people on this site.

Then again, it is LS1Tech.com not LT1Tech.com, isn't it?

Have a great day!

95 Formula here. After the recent paint job, it has no decals to show it is a Formula. Just the sound from the new exhaust.

I just sold my vette for a house and Trans am! I was looking at a Ws6 Firebird but it was sold. Great looking cars. The only issue I have withthem is the confusion between a v6 and a v8. No mistaking a trans am or ws6 for that matter. It is what it is.

That doesn't matter to folks that don't worry about what other folks think of their rides. As a matter fact, people thinking that my car is a V6 might often result in fun.

End the end, it's whatever floats your boat. I like simple looking cars and that's why I bought my Formula {my LX 5.0 also}. I don't like T-tops either so that pretty much made my choice for me.

Not always true. It matters to me that you cant confuse my car fro a v8 or a v6. It was the ultimate when I had my c5.

Dunno, just doesn't matter to me what other folks think of my car, could care less what they think it is.. Just different strokes for different folks I reckon.

There were quite a few more Trans Ams than Formulas made, so there'll be a similar ratio just about everywhere

I guess you know my pain. I need a house to start a family. I bought a 1999 trans am black, exhaust, lowered chrome older style ws6 rims, t tops , leather, with 27,000 miles for pretty cheap. Every option known to man minus ws6 package of course. I like the raptor hood much better!

98 Formy here just got converted to a 6spd. I didn't like the formy hatch much so I gave it a little TA flare and put the hatch on it. I like the front better though it looks sleeker and more refined. Add a WS-9 hood from roger and it is the best looking machine in my area. Only bad thing about it is the 2.73's and steel driveshaft. Other than that 133k miles and still kickin *** like no tommorrow.

Got an 01 that is black ext w/ ebony int., no leather, 6 spd w/hurst shifter, hardtop, no traction control. Have yet to see another like it here in the local area.
