Default Pontiac 455 with #48 heads.

I was wondering if anyone has a Pontiac 455 with pontiac 48 heads on the engine.

I am planning on putting #48 heads on my 1974 455 engine but I would like to know what size dish pistons should I use, what cam, etc. I also would want the engine to run on pump gas.

thanks.

Ditto. Find yourself some 1971 400 #96 heads. Will give you a perfect 9.2:1 compression on a 455. Also, check out the following link:
