Default Old 67 Firebird Drag Car Update

Welp, pulled the roller 455 out of my 67 Bird today, to find I had grenaded 4 inner valve springs, don't ask me how, probably revving it when it was cold. Pulled the TH400 and the engine out all at once, boy was that fun. Fortunate enough I had my dad giving me a hand when I needed it. Gonna take it to Smith Machine in Visalia (where I used to work) and have the KRE-ported edelbrock heads vacuum tested, new valve springs put on, might switch cams to something a little bigger than 246/253 @ .050 and .643/.660" with 1.60 rockers, which my dad ended up robbing for his 68 GTO. I have to install my new lokar pedal and SS cable for my 1050 dominator sitting on my Victor intake, as well as a new continental 10" 3800 stall converter and new SFI flexplate, flexplate shield and transmission shield. I have to switch drivelines, install my safety loop, weld in my 10 pt. moly steel cage, install my new polyethylene seats with 5 pt harnesses. Anyway, a lot of work... but I'm gonna end up blowing the TA up the way I've been driving it... Wish me luck, I'm sure I'm gonna need it!
