The taillight fuse on my friends '84 Firebird blows everytime you turn on the lights, how do you fix that? It happened after we installed a new stereo. We cut off a 12v and ground at the same time and shorted them, and the radio fuse and ACC fuse blew (it was the 12v via ACC).
Replaced ACC and radio fuses and it worked again but now it blows the taillight fuse everytime you turn on the lights. It's really annoying since it's illegal to drive without the lights on in Sweden even during daytime![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)
How is the easiest way of fixing it yourself? It feels like replacing all the wires to the taillights will be quite a task especially if the problem lies elsewhere and i'm not really good at finding electrical problems with a multimeter. How much will it cost to just leave it to a shop, and if you did would you leave it to GM or somewhere else?
