wind baffles
wind baffles I have a 2001 ws6 Im looking for some cheap power and noticed that the "nostrils" have quiet a routine for air to go through. I was wondering if anyon saw a difference from removing the back baffle it goes upso i think air could come in easier. Im sure that it is to keep out rain or whatever but i dont think taking one out would make that big of a difference. Dont want to screw anything up though so i want more opinions

Drilled some holes-worked out nicely, No SOTP but it is not wider then the Lower Air Box-goes directly in. I noticed if i removed the entire baffle, it would allow more air under the hood then i would like because the nostrils are WIDER
Just do it. Even though u dont get any real noticable power gains, i promise ur engine bay will thank u for more air flowin in it to keep things cooler. Every little bits helps.

^^^ What he said. It's cheap and easy to do.
I had to put the grills back on though (wanted to take them out and leave them out) because the inside of the hood is white, and rather noticable once the black baffles are removed (on a black car). I can still see it if the angle is right, so I need to get around to painting the inside at some point.
