Lets see there's
Firebird, base model, V6
Firebird Formula, V8 , could also be had with the WS6 package
Firebird Trans Am, V8, little more upmarket with the interior (PW, PDL, Adjustable Leather seats, Monsoon stereo, could also be had with the WS6 package
Firehawk, V8, SLP performance/appearance goodies (lid +catback, special floor mats) available, different looking hood than the WS6 or Trans Am
WS6 package consisted of hood, different lower air box, shocks (supposedly higher durometer bushings and different springs) and the 17" wheels and tires
also available was an NHRA edition (basically just some badges)
I'm sure I'm forgetting some specifics on each model/option package, but that's the basic breakdown of the Firebird line
So that would be 8 (Firebird, Formula, WS6 Formula, NHRA Formula, Trans Am, Trans Am WS6, NHRA Trans Am , Firehawk) if you count the WS6 and NHRA as seperate models and if you don't it's 4

98-02 V8s. That certainly isn't "all".

What makes the ls6 intake better? would this be a mod someone could do or would want to do?

In the "GM special packages: anniversary" section, they forgot the Pontiac 75th Aniversary edition. I have one, but with no badges. It was not limited to only Firebirds. A few other Pontiacs got the package. Its just combining the more popular options into one package (like leather chrome wheels, leather shift **** & steering wheel, performance rear gear, t-tops...) and optional badges.

And with the hawks, they had a **** load of different options. Springs, shocks, sway bars. Also the WS6 had the 1le sway bar up front.

Are you talking about differences in 4th gen models or Firebirds from First gen like this...

through 4th gen?

The person who started this thread was probably just thinking of 4th-gens, but I like to include all years That's a nice 1969 you've got!

Well, there isn't any 'they', I collected all of that myself.

Don't recall hearing about this package before, but I managed to find enough information about it to get it added!

Well, doh... I just realized I did look up some stuff about the 75th Anniversary package for you already, back in January. It was posted in a thread that was originally started about the NHRA SE package, though, so I apparently overlooked it when getting everything together for the list in March

transamjunkie - Got the SLP Firebird GT added!
