Yea I have heard that Iroc thing, it is funny as hell but it is amazing how idiotic people can be! When my buddy told me what the paper and the car salesman said, I was like Does anyone know how much h.p. the '95 5.0's came with?

Its supposed to be 215 for 1994-1995, 240 for the Cobra.

i know for a fact `95 is a 5 liter.....friend has had 2 of them...93 was the last year of that body style, first year of the reborn cobra...but not last of the 5.0s

the LT1 should still easily take it....mine never had problems with any GT...99-02 cobras give u a lil more trouble, but not enuff a few bolts on cant handle.

What whould he think about doing to hlep keep it running when he picks it up since it has 150 on the clock. How well do the opti's hold up? Any idea of how long they can go without having to be replaced? I gave him my latest issue of GMHTP because in there is a rebuild of an LT1 with over 100k and on the dyno it went from 236/280 to 284/312. Excellent gains for just replacing alot of the old stocker parts.

Yeah 93 was last year of the Fox Body. The 99 Trans Am should stock-for-stock take a 99 Cobra, there was no 2000 Cobra... LS1 should take up to the 2002 Cobra though. So for each year of the LT1/LS1 F-Bodies, they should take the same year Cobra (and of course the GT).

Is this a joke? a '95 'vert would stand no chance again an LT1 stock for stock, unless the LT1 had MAJOR problems... like two cracked pistons and a flat tire or something. Those things are absolute dogs in stock form. Send him up here, my WRX is better competition for him.

Oh I know my LS1 T/A will take the cobras with the exception of the 03/04's. Another buddy of mine has an 01 I think? And we goto the track and I beat him with just my loudmouth, and short throw and before my CAI. So now with my Kooks here and almost on, I will deff. see better times as well. My buddy with the 01 cobra has full exhaust, CAI, short throw and has messed with his air and fuel. when I posted this thread I was talkin about another friend of mine lookin to pick up a '94 Formy vs. his bro's '95 5.0 vert.
