Default Switching Gauge Clusters for 94 Firebird

I've looked but I can't find anything about switching gauge clusters. I've got a 94 Firebird with a 110 speedo and I want to put a 150 speedo in it. Will I have to get it recalibrated or will it be already correct? If there is already a thread about this, please direct me to it. If not, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's a direct swap you will not have to change anything out to make it function correctly.

Except that it won't be much use if you still have the factory speed limiter.

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah, I'm going to get the top speed changed. I didn't know if I had to reprogram the whole thing to have the correct mph. Thanks again.

Heres what you do.

Step 1.

Unbolt the plastic peace under the dash, its the large one right under the streering colum, above your legs when you drive the car. Best way to get it out is put the driver seat all the way back and get in up side down because your going to need to lay down to get the two bolts off, then its just two tabs from there I believe.

Step 2

Pull off the trim big bezel around the cluster area, its just help in by push tabs

step 3

unbolt the cluster and pull it out, only 4 bolts holding it in

Cluster Upgrade Options.

1994-1997 Cluster, 1997 is better looking with a bezel and digital odometer.
