door molding

door molding is the molding on the door that is there to protect it from door dings, the same on both sides? i need the molding for the driver side, and i went to a junk yard and they have a pewter bird, just like mine, with only a pass. door. but it has the molding. i didnt drive so i had nothing to compare. is it the same for driver and pass side?

Im pretty sure they are the same, they look the same to me...

Yes, it appears to be the same on both sides...it even comes painted the correct color.

ok, that works. im not going to buy the moulding, i just needed to know if it was the same. i found a pewter bird with good moulding...but it was on the pass door... i didnt wanna go take it if it wouldnt work. thanks alot.
was that from gmpartsdirect?

However, I don't regret taking'em off one bit!!.. the car looks much cleaner without the moldings and the Trans Am emblems

All you do is get a hairdryer to heat up the adhesive, take some floss and work your way across it. You'll leave some adhesive on as you rip it off, but you can remove that with an offtheshelf counter or your thumbs. I removed it with my thumbs and it ripped them up but it was worth it.
