Mine would have to be the 82-90 model you just cant beat the 89 Turbo Trans Am 
of that year a GTA with a Buick turbo in it. second would be the 97 WS6, I have a 02 TA but if that 97 came with the ls1 thats the one i would own or of course the 89 TTA

I hve to say you can't go wrong with the first gen. I think the sound of a true muscle pounding moster has no equal. Yet the fourth gen is a real reminder of true horse power.

98-02 WS6 Ram-Air 'birds are the absolute most bad-*** looking car on the planet!!
Even though mine is a 3rd gen, I love the last of the breed cars. After that, I'm partial to the 82-92, especially 87-90. The 70-73 cars would be 3rd.
