To me, the 69 get first place. The GTO style bumper makes it look like the younger sibbling.
The 98-02 WS6 Second place. Bad to the bone(engine) look!!!!
77 T/A (Bandit) looks sexy too.

You mean like the one in the following photos:
http://www.nautiboy.com/gallery/view...ta_almost_done
Those were taken a couple days ago, with the restoration being nearly complete. It just got finished today and got loaded on a truck for its trip from PA to CA. I'll have better pics when it gets out here.
And when it gets here, the conversion to an LS1+T56 will begin!

I've owned the first and last year of Firebird but the 70-73 Trans Ams will always be my favorite.
Too bad they never offered them as a convertible. If I have to pick a 4th gen it would be the 96-97 WS6 Trans Ams. In comparison, my 2002 Firehawk was just plain gaudy looking.
Now, if you're asking which year is the best looking convertible, well...

I've got a 73 Formula 400 in the garage with the 99 c5 vert so I guess I'm a little biased. This is the fourth 70-73 I've owned, Love the front end and Formula hood.

I voted 3rd Gens all the way. My mom and dad sat me down in front of the TV on Friday nights when I was 3 to watch Knight Rider
That is what got me hooked on Knight Rider, cars, and Firebirds!

this one should be the WS.6 the one above is my 6spd ta and my formula a4, they are a matched pair of 94s color and all, very low miles the WS.6 is a 96 formula hard top a4 with a borla adjustable stainless catback, richmond 3.73 rear end slotted and drilled rotors and the basic WS.6 equipment
