Its interesting so many people picked the LS1 cars. No doubt they are the fastest. It seems a little unusual when the general public would dissagree. By comparison few of the 4th gens were sold than the other gens.
I like them all, and for different reasons. I really don have a fav but I own a 69 w/a roller 455

You know IMO I think Pontiac really messed up the looks of the 1st gens when they went to the 69s. They just look awkward to me. The 67s and 68s look mean, they dont look like a Pontiac cobbled together from camaro parts. But the 69 looks just weird IMO. I think they messed up with the front grill. Other than that it looks ok.

The 2nd gen body style is definently cool. The pheinox bird and retro style interior set these apart from the rest. Also, the snowflake and turbo wheels are unique and really set the car off.

If i could have my favorites,,,and a butler building to house them in,,,,i would want a 78 WS6, with the Pontiac motor, not the Olds stuff,,,,or/and my all time fav,,the legendary 73 in Brewster Green with the Super Duty action.....ARRRRRRGGGGG (Homer S slobbing) Superrrrrr Duuuuutttty! Yeah i said doooty!
Still, i love my 2000,,and agreed,,,the interiors were much better back in the day.

I had to vote 98-02 because that's what I'm driving now but I love them all! I could drive any year and be happy. The Firebirds have always look great. My new one is just unbelieveable in terms of performance and style. I could've done without a few choice Corvettes or Camaros.
