Friday is really a relaxing day. Just hang out and meet up with your friends as they arrive. Saturday is a busy day with drag racing at Kilkare, the show & shine, and the Tipp City Cruise-in that night. Sunday's another morning filled with detailing for the judging. I've gone the last five years, and it's a blast!

That's cool, I remember watching them judge your cars. Nice rides.

I know the Judging Chairman, Scott Scheel, and I could have helped judge again if I wanted to do so last year. I was invited on Friday to the judge's meeting that happens on Sunday morning, but when Sunday came along I totally forgot about it . I was thinking about cleaning my car too much, and for the guy parked next to me from Louisiana who was worried about his family (since they were possibly in the path of Hurricane Katrina). Scott Scheel is a part of the Indy Firebird Club, and I met him through that club when I was a member. I did help them out a few years ago, and it was pretty fun. I probably knew about half of the judges who judged cars last year. That's probably why I never win anything

Here's a write up on the last year's show: http://highperformancepontiac.com/ev...p_0604_tanats/

I believe it's in the April 2006 issue of High Performance Pontiac Magazine. I didn't make it into any of the pics again this year (at least from what is shown on their website) I have made it a couple of times (way in the background--see my site for pics), but now that the KK class is over by the tech line (and off the main parking lot now), that class doesn't get into any photographs anymore Oh well, I knew I was there

Edit: after further review of the photos, I realized that I'm in the photos this time....

I should be back on the main lot this year. I've got a few more "bling" pieces that should push me out of KK.
