Haven't ever seen any 99 color stats, unfortunately. In 1998, NBM was on 3593 of all 32157 Firebirds (or 1536 of the 15584 V8 birds), or about 9.9-11%. If it was about the same percent in 1999, that'd be a rough estimate of around 3984 of all 36,219 Firebirds (or around 1763 of the 17804 V8 birds).

There were 175 Formula WS6 coupes, 2765 Trans Am WS6 coupes, and 467 Trans Am WS6 convertibles, for a total of 3407 WS6s in 1999. So you're probably looking at somewhere in the vicinity of 340 or so NBM 99 WS6s. Can't get more than a general estimate this way, of course, but it's better than nothing...

ya i was looking at a local 99 ws6 for sale, and from what i see the color was nbm, but he said it was one of 250 made that color for that year ... maybe there were only 250 ws6's made with nbm in 99?

It's possible, but since that's so far below the estimate, he was probably either talking about 250 NBM Trans Am WS6 coupes, or 250 NBM WS6s with a particular transmission.

That is probably like ACW stated with a particular tranny and interior color. I tried to find a NBM WS6 auto w/ grey or black interior and they were hard to find. The m6 was easier to find in ws6, and genneraly when i found one it had been ragged on or way overpriced. I found 2 over a 6 mo period (98 and newer) I ended up finding a non ws6 ta that was below KBB price and it was about 4 grand cheaper than a ws6. Thats alot of mods! Dont rule out a regular TA from your search. Who knows, you might find one you like.

Also if I'm not mistaken, for lovers of blue cars like myself, in 1999 you had a choice of Navy Blue or a lighter blue which I think they referred to as Medium Blue. That would probably have reduced the number of Navy Blue Cars around. If you are looking for a rare bird, try getting your hands on one of the light blue TAs. I hardly ever see them in this area. Not even sure the WS6 was avilable in that color. Maybe it was in 2000, after which I think the color was discontinued.
