3rd gen firebird headers help

i have a 1985 firebird and i am about to buy at crate engine for it but i don't know if i will have enough room for LT headers has anyone put LT headers on a 3rd generation firebird if so please let me know because i don't think there is enough room but there might be any advice would help thankyou.

People have put longtubes on thirdgens before, I'm just not sure what kind of ground clearance they have. Try checking out www.thirdgen.org I'm sure you'll find a lot more info about them over there.

It all depends on what crate engine you bought.
www.thirdgen.org is definitely your best source of info if you bought a SBC. If you bought a crate LS1, then go to www.hawksthirdgenparts.com Bruce Hawkins has the ONLY longtube headers for LSx conversions into 3rd gen f-bodies.
