Here is my Sport Gold 98 and his older brother

any thoughts on how sport gold would look on my 78 trans am? have ls1 and looking for a more modern gold then solar gold.

Personally, I don't think there's a big enough difference between these two gold colors that it would make someone seeing a '98 color on a '78 think, "Hey! That's a much better looking gold than was available from the factory in '78!" Sure, if you had two '78 cars side-by-side, one factory and one w/ the '98 SGM, you could certainly tell that they were not the same, but only a Firebird fan would know which one is correct. But its your car.

A 78 Firebird in any shade of gold is going to make (older) people think "Rockford Files." But I think Sport Gold pops a little more.
