BOTH are stock ws6 wheels
This is correct, I believe in 01 they changed to the Pontiac Center Cap, And like other people said, If those rims are 16" It's probably not a WS.6..Why would you downgrade from at 17" to 16"?, Doesn't make sense..And like more people said, The WS.6 code should be on the door jam sticker, Looks like a fake to me..

Lso could have had rim damage so instead of spending the money to replace they could have just found some cheep ta rims them guys dont know the deff between a ws6 rim or ta rim.
no its not a lot of trouble to convert a T/A to a WS6. hood wheels......emblems. done. its not a true WS6 because of the lack of suspension and p/s coolers and RPO code, but to the untrained eye it is. and again for the second time. ALL 01+ V8 F-BODIES CAME WITH THE LS6 INTAKE. NOT JUST THE WS6/SS.

thats a sensitive subject among a lot of true WS6/SS owners. people that throw badging and wheels on their car and try to pass it off as a true car. and the sad thing is they succede because people dont know to check the RPO codes. i dont own either and it pisses me off. i dont mind people that do it but then tell everyone that its a clone. if you dont try to pass it off as a real one, no big deal.

Same for those of us that get tired of seeing base Trans Ams turned into WS6 clones. Not every '98-'02 'bird needs a ram air hood. Leave some of them alone please

I dunno, I have a real WS6, and I'm probably going to turn my Formula into a fake one... doesn't really bother me. A WS6 isn't that special of a car, really, and they can't fake the RPO code. I'd be more concerned about someone trying to make a fake Blackbird, or a fake Dick Harrell car or something.

Look how many '69 Trans Am clones there are out there..
