BGM-Bright Green Metallic

BGC was made untill 2001. I have a 2001 BGC TA.

Those are both BGC, same as mine.

Both colors are also listed for 2000 and 2001, but neither are listed for 2002.
Might be listed, but was NEVER produced after 98.

My books could certainly be incorrect. That wouldn't be the first time that's happened.

I'm color blind so this thread got me curious on what color my car actually is. I went into the garage and checked all the codes on my door looking for the 3 options it could be for my '97 T/A (paint codes 31, 48, and 79). The only one that came up was 31 and it came up twice, A31 and 31U. Does that mean that my car is BGM and was offered in '97 as well as '98 or could my car be a different paint code from the 3 I was looking for???

Here is a picture:

Yeah, its one of the more rarer colors. Definitely not the rarest.

Im not sure on the production numbers for 1997, but in 1998 there were a total of 631 Firebirds produced in BGM. 98 of those cars being TA coupes.

That 'bird belongs to NA$TY-TA. He's a moderator on this site. It's one of the 98 BGM Trans Ams done in '98.

I thought it was the BGM, but I've never seen another one like it, nor seen one in real life.

I don't believe I've seen a 'bird in BGM, but is it similar (or the same) to the green that Chevrolet used on the Camaro around the same time? If so, then I've seen a few Camaros in person that are that color.

Yeah, but then you factor in the other Firebird models. The 1998 numbers for BGM look like this-

Firebird Coupe- 462

Firebird Vert- 29

Formula Coupe- 34

Formula Vert- ---

T/A Coupe- 98

T/A Vert- 8

Total- 631
