After doing that and removing a bunch of material, the cowl was wide open past the firewall. Tyson then zipped it up using aluminum as you can see in the picture. They also tie in to the strut bars.

WOWWOWWOWWOWWOW!!!!!!! I am seriously interested in the fiberglass nose!!! Where did you get it??? My car is on a diet also. Please let me know! How much lighter is it over the stock pieces?? Love it!! My hood is lightweight fiberglass but didnt know they made one like that!!!
