Not wrecked, no. In fact I drove it right in to the shop right before we began to tear her apart. It was an early 98 that needed some TLC that I picked up for cheap. She had 107k on the clock and we pretty rough around the edges; all in all a great donor car!

Plans are for into the single digits...

Do you know how fast you can go without a roll bar in a t-top car?Is it the same as convertible or hardtop?

The entire cowl was cut back as far as it could go to allow as much room in the engine bay as possible for the carb. Since I am installing a lexan windshield it didn't matter that we shaved it so close to where the glass would normally sit.

After doing that and removing a bunch of material, the cowl was wide open past the firewall. Tyson then zipped it up using aluminum as you can see in the picture. They also tie in to the strut bars.

WOWWOWWOWWOWWOW!!!!!!! I am seriously interested in the fiberglass nose!!! Where did you get it??? My car is on a diet also. Please let me know! How much lighter is it over the stock pieces?? Love it!! My hood is lightweight fiberglass but didnt know they made one like that!!!
