Revell Monogram '98 Pontiac Firebird Ram-Air
1:25 scale
ages 10 & up
skill level 2
part #85-2539

The model on the box lid that I have is painted purple. I bought mine back in April of 2000.

I tried the Revell-Monogram site, but it doesn't have a search function. All my efforts to find it by their search were fruitless. This model might be out of production now.

I've been looking too, it seems no one makes a hard top/ t top version in a large diecast model(or even a plastic kit), the vert is represented, but not the other roof styles.
The only one I've found is the Johnny Lightning matchbox size

I've got this one

My mom worked at revell-monogram for like 10 years, too bad I didn't have my TA yet but I did manage to get about 30 random die cast cars, about 10 of them didnt survive though due to excessive bashing them together, and a bunch of do it yourself ones.

I have some 1/24 size die-cast metal trans ams. The Revell kit has been out of production for a while now. The only other t-top ones are the Johnny lightning ones.

I detailed mine to be a miniature of my car. This includes Tinted glass, wheels, embroidered headrests and mats, hooker exhaust, red overlays, and slp lid.

I have one of these but its still in the box. They are worth a little bit of money because they came out with the wrong tires and stopped making them.

Yeah, mine is unassembled and still in the box too. I noticed the 16" wheels & tires as soon as I opened it. I was happy because they match what my real 'bird is running

Life has kept me from taking the time to assemble it and make my own base model hood. I did dig it out of the cabinet to get all the info I posted on it since it had been so long since I'd looked at it

Here's another '98+ 'bird model. This one is die-cast...and I've yet to open it.

I've scanned the top, both sides, and one of the ends (since the ends are the same). Enjoy!
