Default I'm pumped...

As nervous as it makes me im going to take my crack at pulling the current motor in my car and replacing it with one thats got 100k less, finally doing more bolt ons then headers; i.e. LS6 intake, then adding heads, rod bolts etc. and on the 13th its scheduled to get a Stage II tranny w/a TCI 3500 stall.
So as it sits:
TR224, Headers, Lid, and a shift kit.
By the 15th of Feb.
TR224, Stage II 241's (yea yea, college budget!),LS6 Intake,Stage II 4L60E w/3500 stall, and that LS1 shortblock w/some rod bolts (whopty do, but im excited).

Good deal! I remember 6 months ago you were thinking on selling it. I'm glad you're doing this. These are the memories the "good ol' days are made of."

Just curious how many miles does the current motor have on it? Is it still in decent running condition ?

Just kinda curious how long these things really last...

It has 135k on it right now, it still runs really well, the only problem is that i got unlucky and got a block that was cast thin in one small area, and now w/the ported ls6 pump, it leaks oil
