1985 T/A Rear End with POSI??? I have a friend who is trying to sell his 1985 T/A rear end and he needs to know if it has POSI or not...Thanks...probably a stupid question...Sorry.

hop on over to www.thirdgen.org the guys over there can get you ANYTHING you need to know, pro codes will probobly be needed to know for sure though

acctualy the RPO code for posi in a thirdgen (or 4th i believe for that matter) is G80, in an 85 trans am it will be a 9 bolt australian rear end, all posi rear ends have rear disk brakes as well, gearing will be 3.27 or 2.77, very strong rear ends as well as very expensive with very hard to find parts
