I had a TA49 on my Buick and was happy with it on the street (then went to a TE63 and am now moving to a single ball-bearing PT70 P-trim). It needs at least this 44 to keep up with the heads and cam it has, but I don't want to loosen up the convertor. Once you do that, it's starts a chain reaction...slicks, broken parts, etc..
Just got my chip from Eric at TurboTweak and will swap the turbo/injectors once I get some baseline times with the car.

I bought one of these about 6 months ago and am about to start with the modding, but really dont know what to start with. I am like you I dont want a looser converter just to make about 50 - 75 more HP.I want to get it in the 12's and keep it nice and street friendly.
