check the the 10th vin number it will tell you the year. if it is and 01 it will say 1 in the vin. also look at the sticker on your door in the 4th or 5th row at the very end you should see WS6 and then WS9 and it they are there it is a WS6 from the factory. and to be sure it is a formula it should say formula on the door as well as have the base model hatch on the back.

Did they switch the 10th digit to a number in 2001? Up until that point, they used letters from the alphabet. My 2000 'bird has a "Y" for the 10th digit. I guess the only letter left obviously would be "Z", so switching to a number would make sense. I'm curious about this now....

Id love to hear that, most no nothings around here think its a V6 with "the hood"
I can see why they would say that, being that the V6 and the Formula share the same front end design. Never noticed that before.

Nice car though

Basically just the GM RPO code for the Ram Air Performance Package. It not actually an abbreviation for anything

2000 WS6 Formula...M6 Hardtop.

Bought the car used and originally thought it was just an aftermarket hood, but checking the VIN and the doorjam, it's actually factory WS6.

I'm not a fan of the "bird bath" spoiler so I switched the hatch out w/ a TA one Looks a lot better IMO.

Man I was about a week from pulling the trigger on a 99 NBM Formula WS6 car and then saw the 30th.
