Not many. They are a rarity. Great cars too.

I really wanted to get a Ram Air Formula but I could not justify paying an extra 3 grand for what basically amounts to a hood. Now I sometimes regret not paying the extra money for one.

I love the fact that people sometimes think you are riding around in a V-6.

someone correct me if i am wrong but i think they only made 236 2000 formula WS-6s so there can't be many even from 1998 to 2002 but i thought i might get more than this.

post up some pics if you can but the easiest way to well is the ram air hood, WS-6 badge, WS-6 wheels (17s with WS-6 center caps), and to make sure it was not converted from a regular formula check the RPO you should see a WS9 and a WS6 in the codes. if everything matches welcom to the exclusive club.

When my Formula was stock I had a young guy in a LT1 Camaro at the drag strip mistake my car for a V6. Let's just say he got schooled big time.

Actually you are quite mistaken. The first year that GM produced the WS6 cars was in 1996. 1996 was also the first year the Formula WS6's were made. Mine is one of 524 Formula WS6's made in 1996.

A friend of mine owns a 1997 Formula WS6 which is almost identical to mine. He goes by the screen name 'Formula WS6'.

I would check your vin on your car. The last year for WS-6 formulas to be produced was 2000. So an 01' sounds a little fishy to me.

I love mine. I get compliments on it all the time.
