porbably just a restatement, but window motors, seat motors , headlight motors. the list kinda goes on but the number one complaint is how gm when to such retarded lenghts to dumb it down so much so it can't compete with their choosen child (the corvette) , i mean just one example of this is the stock lid, wtf is that about? it's way bigger than they slp style lids so it doesn't save them money in material, so what was the point of that? another thing is how they set the car up so even if you wanted to put true duals on it you will have one hell of a time doing so! they have the floorboards molded in such a stupid way that you will not have clearance from that or the ground. we've made our own set up, but damn if it wouldn't be easier if that homo hump wasn't in the floorboard. so inconclusion, it's not the car i have complaints about, it's the company that makes it. but my list of likes outshadows the list of dislikes by a long shot!

Main complaint would just be general quality of the interior. They are also prone to developing rattles and squeeks.

LOL!!!! I do the same thing! Even with all the issues with these cars I still wouldn't trade it for anything else. Everyone has covered the issues I have had.

Keep in mind this list is based on a Formula hard top car (no t-top issues, had that with my previous Camaro) that was daily driven (no drag strip action- so no complaints about the 10 bolt or traction)
1) oil consumption - some more than others, mine alot
2) loud, clunky headlight doors
3) loud, clunky power antenna
4) cheap *** interior materials - I swear it must have cost GM $1.75 to make it
5) cheap *** hot stamped script and logo on taillight panel that faded after 2 years
6) CAGS - easily fixable
7) crappy shifter (Hurst) - somewhat easily fixable
8) Cadillac quiet stock exhaust - see above
9) engine halfway under the cowl (and what a sharp edged cowl it is!)
10) passenger floor hump - doesn't bother me as much since I never sit there!

Weird radio ( sometimes decides to mess up ,and instead of showing me the normal numbers its some weird mixed up things)

For my complaints:
1 Squeaks, and rattles from misc places
2 Front dash is too high! Always hitting the parking bumps or scrapping the airdam, then having to rear back. (So embarrassing when you are driving nice *** ride, and that happens right in front of a restaurant full of ppl!)
3 Water leaks - make sure you put the t-tops back on and the seals are overlapped or else you’ll get a flood in the car! (had that happen twice!)
4 Headlamps are too dim, and noisy operation!
5 Car shakes quite a bit while just idling
6 Window motor dying
7 Weight, it’s a dam heavy car to race with! Just takes up extra gas!
8 No locks on the fuel tank!
9 weak *** 10 bolt
and my biggest prob, 10, the radio/cd sound system, GARBAGE, GARBAGE, GARBAGE, worst system I ever heard from!!! My old 91 camry even had better sound than my new 2002 trans am! DAM GM, at least give us a good sound system to take our minds off of these other sht problems with the car!!!

But with all these problems, I still love my car! Looking to get a 3rd one!

Something to remember i see alot of complaints about the seat conditions,if your car say is a 2000 its 6 almost 7 years old...look at the leather seats in a 7 year old mustang.These f-body seats arent that bad if you look around you.

AMEN. 95% of daily driven TAs from 93-97 have their front bumpers looking like total crap. Im having a new one put on due to an accident and hopefully this time the paint will hold up longer.

I have most of the same complaints everyone else has mentioned. My turn signals have died out twice. I really wish the interior was a bit nicer. Driver's side headlight motor went out and my passenger side headlight was jammed, but is working now. And now my throw out bearing needs to be replaced.

I plan on getting a new car, but will keep my WS6 for a long long time!

i thought mine was the only one with the musky smelling ac. after it rains sometimes and you turn on the ac, it does smell pretty shitty...

to add to the list,
1. cracked door panel
2. headlights wont go down
3. hatch rattle
4. shitty rear end (already had to replace)
5. front stock brakes were horrible
6. stock monsoon system sounds distorted at loud volumes

of course all of this if forgotten when you smash the gas
