Plan on selling my 02 Collectors Edition, what should I ask?
I think the time has come for me to move on to something else. I love the car, I just dont drive it enough. I was thinking $22,500? From all the Collectors Editions that I have looked at on Autotrader higher mileage ones have sold for more than that.
I have 46,000 miles on mine and I am the 2nd owner.
Fully loaded 02 Ws6 Collectors Edition
6speed-with hurst
t-top
12disc changer
Traction control
Mods coming with the car:
Sidestripe removal
Slp Lid
slp maf
slp bellows
B&m Ripper or stock shifter
Mac mid lengths and ory
Corsa exhaust
eibach pro kit
cross drilled slotted rotors
Spec stage 3
Any help or advice would be highly appreciated. I am looking for pointers on listing it on autotrader or possibly ebay.

You could start at that price, but the mods might keep you from getting what you want. The lack of stripes and the lowering job might really keep the price down (since those are the easily visible changes in your photos).
Selling a modded car is really kind of a catch 22. If you're lucky enough to find the right buyer, then you're good to go. I think a lot of people tend to shy away from a modded car for whatever reason. Sometimes they help a sale, but most of the time they have no effect or actually hurt the sale.

I dont think the stripes will keep the price down. For the person looking for CE just to have, this probably aint the one they want. For someone that wants a sweet looking ws6 CE without a high CE price, this is the one. Most people agree with me that the !stripes make it look better. I know what you are saying though.
I already posted it on the other site

I bought mine about year ago and to tell ya the truth when i was shopping i didn't even look at cars that were modified. Its a collector car, most people who buy them buy them for that reason alone. I'd put the stripes back on and stock springs then sell it. I will say it does look badass lowered.
