Hey rayvendawn, if your that worried about going into a "bad neighborhood" take someone with you, just take the biggest/badest rednck you can find.....you'll be alright......it'll be worth it I think, especially if it turns out to be a firehawk, you can also request the vin code from the seller and see it was stolen or whatever

hehe I had actually already thought about taking someone with me but I don't have any friends.. I know that sounds pathetic lol! I only have my elderly grandmother that I live with so that isn't going to work.
Oh and I found another trans am but it doesn't seem quite right... it is the right price but something looks fishy about it.
It has stickers on the side that say G2 and I think it has rims that say WS6 but it isn't also it has a hood that doesn't look like the regular ram air hood.. am I wrong about this? Oh and what is up with that filter and stuff around it? I have already been to see this car but it didn't seem right.

That car is NOT a Firehawk. I'm willing to bet $500 on that fact. ~Joshua

G2 is the logo of L.G. Motorsports a performance parts comany. If car has a filter showing with no lid over it, its definately an aftermarket "ram air" hood. Stock T/A's and WS6's have a air lid covering the filter so you cannot see it. There are so many different clone hoods out there its hard to say which unless you have good pics of it.

I might take it for a test drive tomorrow..but I think it has been driven pretty hard. Its missing the speaker covers in the back seats and there is a nos sticker under the hood by the engine. There are some really STUPID looking flame decals on the hood and they are translucent looking. The guy said it had a different cam which made the car really loud but the engine shook around pretty hard, is this normal with a cam? I might just be used to the silent wiggle of my other engine lol. I'm so scared of buying a ragged out car but I'm not sure how to tell when they've been done in.

I hate to say it but it might be a smart move to pass on this car. If you suspect that the car was ridden hard and put away wet then it probably was. There are plenty of good examples out there that are reasonably priced. A car that is of such recient vintage shouldnt have things like that missing, and it is so easy for an uneducated owner to make bad choices in an effort to make their car faster...find a virgin...

I agree with blackhawk J. Stay away. Do not bother with this car.
Too big of a risk for problems down the road.
There are way too many signs of bad things to happen there, ...
You can find better!
Keep searching. Look thru the for sale forums online here & other LS1 related forums. You'll find lots of help like this thru other members & their knowledge of such vehicles.
Good Luck!
