Truth is, those things are not really enough to make a WS6 any faster than a regular TA. It would be a driver's race, plain and simple.

Your next steps performancewise should be a set of long tube headers and a stall.
go on, get in it and stomp the throttle.
flashes to 1600rpm and then you wait for it to get fast..
what you need is a HIGH STALL torque converter.
it feels like downshifting two gears BUT FROM A STOP
then you will need sticky tires.
THEN you will be fast "like a stick"

I feel your pain, people are like "OMG YOU GOT RAM AIR!!#&$!&#$&!#%! I just gave up telling people its a handling package.
Anyway when I had my z28 everyone thought that it was a v6 because it didn't have the hood and body panels and the emblems were the same color as the body..black. I know how aggervating it is to have people say stupid things about the differences between a SS and a Z28 or between a Trans am and the WS6.. same thing to me.
