Was it horsepower Tv???? that dynoed a Stock 06 mustang GT nad only showed 250HP at the wheels. The cars had very low milege nad was completely stock. I think they added a supercharges and cat-back and got it to 300ish. I was surprised how low the HP rating was stock, even at supercharger and a cat-back. Don't know how much an 06 mustang weighs but I'm guessing its not much of a difference compared to a 4th gen F-body.

There is no way a 06 Mustang GT is only putting 300 hp at the wheels when it has a cat-back and a supercharger. It would probably pushing at least 400 at the crank.

The only other thing that could really be done to the car would be headers. When you tack on a SC all that you need to work on is an intercooler tuning and running more boost. At that point heads and cam is moot.

i have always heard, from mustang owners and ls1 owners that mustangs are over rated as far as factory horsepower ratings

I'm not real sure of the mods and the horsepower rating it ended up with but FOR SURE I know that stock it dynoed at 250 RWHP and a flowmaster cat-back was the only exhaust mod.

Stock M5 GTs run mid 13s, a stock LS1 A4 should be able to get them without a problem unless they have 2.73 gears.

You should have no problem at all. I went 13.27@ 106.59 in my bone stock 2001 WS6. The best I have seen of the new Mustangs run is high 13's.

I don't know what my cars runs but i'm in a similar situation with a guy that has an 05 GT, M5 with Magnaflow Catback and CAI. If i run him before tou do i'll let you know the results. Our rides are similar, you have the better intake and manifolds, i probably make up for it with the 3.73s and suspension mods....what do you fellas think?
