Rain and Trans Ams
#42
Hell, I drove the Trans Am in a NY Ice Storm on the stock all seasons, and it did fine with some careful driving. I drove in the snow all the time with the car and it was fine. Rain is a joke.

my TA is amazing in the rain, leave TCS on, dont bag on the car and it is pretty damn good. my car is a DD so it goes through rain all the time. Even when i had bald *** firehawks on it... the *** end would never break loose around corners, nor would it hydroplane through big puddles. I feel safer driving my car in the rain, then just about any other car ive driven. Snow on the other hand, car is in the garage

WHY??? How many miles were on it? What kinda rain? I can't think of anything (short of a hurricane) that would cause an 02 (or most any other car) to die........

Never met an F-Body that didn't leak at least a tiny lil bit from the T-Tops and the 4th Gens are notorious for the water into the rear hatch.....but only if you open it when it is covered in water like you guys are talking about.........and like you said, neither of these would stall a car out.
