Default T/A's at car shows

I know I have read that a few of you take your Trans Ams to car shows and I was wondering if you ever won anything?? I went to two this past year and actually won a 'top 30' trophy at one of them. Not sure if it is deserved as the car is still so new. It sure is amazing how much attention these cars bring. I mean there are true classics from the 1930's and up at the shows and yet this T/A gets equal attention. Amazing machines!

I've never entered mine in one but I really should. The engine pictured in my signature is the actual engine that's in the car.

Don't want to blow your ego up any more - J/K - but yes you should, that engine is a work of art. I take mine to some shows just for something to do and have won several trophies.

95TAGary, your car is flat out incredible!! Congratulations on a real show winner.
Firehawk #608, what are you waiting for?? That would win many shows hands down!

not sure about trans ams, but around here if i take my car to a local show or cuise in, none of the older guys resepct it bc i havent actually fully restored the car like they have with theirs. when people walk around to look at cars, people walk right past mine likes its not there and it pisses me off that these cars (around here) dont get any attention or any props. even tho mine would outrun half the cars that attend those shows, no one cares about it unless its had a full body off resto, big blower sticking out of the hood, narrowed rear end, that stuff. although i did turn their heads when they had an exhaust competetion once.
