hows it goin guys, i just bought a 2000 trans am with 58000 mi, 5.7L, automatic. i love the car to no end, however i do wanna get this thing goin a little faster and lookin alittle better. id like it to be in the mid 11's. does any one have any recomendations on what brand convertor, intake, headers, exhaust, computer chips, tires even??? would it be better to run straight pipes, will i get more performance that way or just an extremely loud car??also what else am i gonna have to change internally, if i have to, id rather not, but if it means more speed safely, then i am willing to do it. i was happy with the cars performance until i got beat by an evo, that kinda pissed me off if you know what i mean. he didnt win by much but he did win. as far as looks go, id like to get rid of the pop up head lights, and put kits on it, any recomendations on where to find these things cuz i cant lie, ive had a hell of a time tryin to find this stuff!!! thank you very much for your time.
