I recently put the GMMG chambered exhaust on mine 02 WS6 and it sounds awesome! If you're looking to change your setup I'd definitely recommend it. I've had many compliments on it and even people motion me at a stop light to ask me what was on it. It has a very aggressive, deep tone (sounds like the older muscle cars). A buddy of mine has the SLP LM. It is very loud!!! I personally like the tone to mine over the slp much better. And with headers and cats, the slp does start to sound crappy. Only drawback to the gmmg is the price but if you can wing it, you'll be very happy with it and the tips look awesome....really fills in that area.

well, I think you guys are gonna be disappointed.
Either that or Ill be the laughing stock of the bunch.
I wanted something very inexpensive because if I dont like the way it performs or the sound Im getting rid if it.
I went with Flowtech.

We put Flowtech LT's on my brother's 5.0 Mustang. They were rather easy to install, but are made of rather thin material if I remember correctly.

Umm,..If those are your two options,.....aviod the flowmaster. They sound horrible with LS1s. I know,..I had one on mine before the LoudMouth. They sound great on Stangs though.

I second on what he said. When I started up the car after getting Flowmasters it sounded like somewhat the same stock muffler I had in my WS6.

"Friends dont let friends install Flowmasters".

Default Sound

May I suggest you visit this link: http://www.ls1sounds.com/
Everyone has a favorite sound, but it is totally subjective. Visit the site, listen to all and make up your mind. Personally, I have no headers, a TSB Rumbler paired with a Fast Toys Ram Air so she breathes well, and it is loud enough that most of my neighbors give me dirty looks if I go over 1K RPM.

if you really want to save money get a cutout. they are dirt cheap (way under $100 for the manual ones if you look in the right place) and you can have them installed from anywhere between $15 and $40 depending where you go and how well you know the guy. they have a good sound too. I would recommend a cutout to anyone that wants a nice muffler but can't afford it as something to hold them over till they get the $$$ for the muffler. I have yet to see any muffler that costs less than a cutout.
