That's cool, I look forward to the finished product. I definitely want to paint my bird plate too, one can be more creative, etc....

How about a 'bird with a base model hood that will be remembered for a long, long time? The last one built had a base model hood . Pontiac brought it again to the 2005 T/A Nationals. They popped the top on it for a while on Sunday, and the interior still has that new car smell. I think they've been cleaning the outside a little too much as it's already got a few swirl marks.

We've got a lot of new faces here since the last post was made in this thread, so I'm sure there are a few base model 'bird owners that haven't posted in here yet.

I've been considering returning my Formula back to the stock hood look. I'm kinda tired of Raptors, and I want a hood that actually looks like it fits.

Thanks! And yes those are ws6 wheels. I am not real big on appearence, and I tend to put the money I have to spend in to performance. My only exterior mods are 13% tint, and the wheels and tires. I guess you could call having dumps an exterior mod, but the opinions would probably vary as to whether or not it is a good mod or not But I like it so who cares!

Well, to post an image using html tags, you need to have the image hosted on the web. The url would go between the tags. There are many free sites for this like photobucket etc.

You can also attach your picture to the post by clicking on the "Manage Attachments" and then browsing to your pictures location, and uploading it.

Hope that helps!

I can get a picture of my Stock hood sitting against my garage wall back home if you would all like

My car had the Ram Air hood when I bought it, but I was also given the stock hood...always wondered what the stock hood would look like on my White T/A

Nice Cars guys, I always love seeing these cars with the stock hoods just as much as I like the Ram Air hood!!

I agree. I'd rather have the "stock look", but carry a big stick under the hood

Here's my '01 with the base hood but I'm picking up my freshly painted WS6 hood this Friday and replacing the stocker.
