6th would just slow you down, it doesn't pull all that well, it's meant for a cruising gear. I've had my H/C with 3:42's all the way up to ~160 in 4th. That was pulling all the way to 7000 though. I didn't want to risk going any faster. I don't know how fast it would do if I had put it in 5th

Ive had my TA all the way up to and a little past the 155 mark in fifth and like everyone on here has said she still wanted to go faster.
I read a Motor Trend I believe in 2001, it was one of those final WS6 vs. SS vs. Cobra things, and they tested all of them up to their respective top speeds, and they said the WS6 kept pulling past 165, but they didnt have enough room to test it, the SS ran out of steam at 155ish dont remember, and the poor Cobra stopped going at 140, I still have the issue I just have to dig it out of my Motor Trend box in the garage if somebody needs a citation

What I was wondering is if there is enough power (in a relatively stock engine) to push the car past say 150 or 160 in that gear because there is lots of RPMs left. I took mine up to 130 in 6th which took forever and I ran out of room, but I was only running at 3,000 rpm so there is plenty of rpms left which made me wonder how long the engine would continue to pull.
