Look up "HPI Firebird" on ebay. It's about $25 shipped, but thats only for the body piece.

 

My frame is at hobby shop getting new front suspension and steering, but heres the idea with the crappy cam phone.

I was just talking to my brother in law about where to get a TA RC car

 

Here's my RCTA. Probably the only one on here with an electric chassis (Tamiya TA03R), and its got the aerodynamic wing on it (can't find my batwing spoiler). Haven't played with it in years. Flame suit zipped!

 

Man! You gotta get pencil eraser and write "Wish my girlfriend was this dirty" on that dirty car! LMAO! Just kidding, but it'd be funny to watch a RC car fly around with that!! Those are some sweet-*** lookin RC cars..I love that orange one...nice setting for the pic! That White one with the blue flames is pretty sweet too! Swat

so whats the deal here? Can you buy the whole car with everything good to go out the box or do you need to just buy the shell and then build everything yourself?

 

 

You gotta get a chassis (your choice of nitro (gas) or electric), assemble it, then buy the Trans Am body. I don't think the body is available with any kits. You can also buy a "ready-to-run" kit, which doesn't require much assembly at all.

 

I just put one on my RS4 Car..Ill take pics and post them up.
